A black clad addition to a traditional sandstone home. The contemporary kitchen and dining extension opens out generously to the garden through full-height glazed sliding doors, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. A double height volume over the kitchen and carefully positioned rooflights allow for the space to be flooded with natural light throughout the day. At first floor the existing master bedroom has been enlarged to allow for a dressing area with a new dormer window that frames expansive views over Montrose.

"We are totally in love with our new space. It has not only transformed our home, but transformed our way of family life. Our home now flows freely from inside to outside and has blended the old and new perfectly. Allison listened to our brief, and came up with plans that were beyond anything we could have hoped for."
