The extension of a, B-listed, late 18th century home, originally built as a dower house. Initial concepts incorporate a new glazed sewing studio that looks onto and connects with, the existing walled garden.

The contemporary extension offers a dynamic combination of old and new with high quality materials including minimalist glazing, a concrete base and a feature zinc fascia with tapered edge, providing some protection from solar gain in summer. The metal cladding wraps around internally to hold logs for the proposed wood burning stove and to contrast the bespoke internal timber joinery that will create a window seat with concealed storage.
